Elsinore

Native client for Frigate NVR

Documentation

Everything Elsinore does, in the order it is worth learning.

Start here

  1. Getting started: what you need before the app is useful, and the first ten minutes.
  2. Connect to your server: the onboarding flow step by step, credentials, remote access, and the Connection Doctor.

The five tabs

  1. Live: the grid, single camera, WebRTC and HLS.
  2. Scrub: the reel, the dossier card, gap cards, export.
  3. Search: the feed, filters, and deeper search. Review: the encounters feed.
  4. Settings reference: every screen, one line each.

Going further

  1. Alerts and notifications: the Alerts Setup flow, the attention ladder, Live Activities, widgets, and what the push relay can see.
  2. Explore and Follow: one object across every camera.
  3. The Marcellus sidecar: what it adds, where it runs, and how to install it.
  4. Elsinore on Mac: what is shared and what differs.

When something is wrong

A note on the sidecar

Elsinore works against a bare Frigate server: live, scrub, and the search feed all come from Frigate itself. Push notifications, Live Activities, encounters, and Investigate come from the optional Marcellus sidecar. Pages that describe sidecar-only behaviour say so at the top.
